When performing a Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification in The Unscrambler® X, a 2-D plot of the classification of the samples is displayed showing the samples plotted against the first two variables in the model. By changing the variables plotted on the axes using the arrows or choosing a variable from the dropdown menu, it is possible to see which variable pairs give the best separation of the samples into classes.
