With multivariate data analysis in The Unscrambler®, in addition to the graphical representation of the results, which are important for data interpretation and analysis, the data matrices for all the results are computed and available in the project navigator of an analysis. For instance, when a PCA analysis is done, a new node is added to the project navigator, which includes a locked version of the raw data, and additional folders that contain Results, Validation and Plots.
The matrices that are not three-dimensional can be duplicated, and are elevated to the upper level in the project navigator. They can then be modified, further analyzed, and treated as any other data matrix in a project. To make a copy of any data matrix, highlight the matrix, and choose Insert-Duplicate Matrix.., which will provide a dialog with the matrix name from which a different matrix can be chosen if desired.
