There are many enhancements that have been introduced in The Unscrambler® X 10.2, including enhanced security, and the addition of a compliance mode of operation. Users now also have the ability to add a digital signature to a project in The Unscrambler® X. Digital signatures provide assurances about the validity and authenticity of an electronic document. Digital signatures can be used to confirm that information originating from the signer has not been altered.
To sign a new or existing project, go to File->Security->Sign. This will then add the digital signature of the logged-in user to the project, and the following message will be given by the software:
On opening a project that has been signed, a user will be informed that any changes made to the project will invalidate the signature.
